[ see, the thing is that other people can think he's a screwup, that he's a goofball. everyone else can underestimate him, but not jack. never his jack. he's not sure how he'd feel if jack starts seeing him the way sue (or any of his loved ones at home) sees him. jack believed in him so wholly, so completely, his greatest, only fear is to have jack turn his back on him. ]
